I am a writer and media producer with reporting, production management, and shooting expertise in documentary films, web series, and video journalism. My research and writing for these productions explore disparate healthcare access and outcomes across race, geography, and gender and sexual identity. After earning a BA in History at Yale, I worked as a research assistant on an Emmy-nominated docuseries (Unveiled: Surviving La Luz del Mundo) for Jigsaw Productions before joining the Global Health Reporting Center (GHRC) as a research and production assistant on Ending HIV In America (2022). While at GHRC, I also produced web and news productions for PBS Digital Studios and PBS NewsHour. Simultaneously, I collaborated with Emmy-winning filmmaker Janet Tobias to develop a slate of feature-length documentaries and docuseries for major streaming and funding partners via GHRC's sister company, Sierra/Tango Productions. I currently work for Topic Studios developing original nonfiction television series. My own work weds my historical training with a deep interest in the interplay of place, psychology, and identity. My interests also extend to the social movements driving change in America, from UAW picket lines to youth-led anti-war rallies.
